I live in a drafty, old house so winter means wearing extra layers even inside. It’s not like I don’t have a lot of sweaters, but nothing was ever perfect. It had to be warm, but not so warm that I’d swelter, it had to be soft, and it had to be comfortable and not get in the way of typing, knitting or cooking.
St. Kilda’s textured bodice and upper sleeves makes it warm while the wide neckline allows some of that warmth to escape. The 3/4 sleeves are practical and the yarn, a sumptuous merino, is pure luxury.
The pattern is written for the following finished bust measurements 36½ (38¾, 41¼, 43½, 45¾, 48, 50¼)”. The suggested ease is 3″ – 4″ for a loose fit, so it will fit anyone with a bust measurement between 32″ – 47″.
